PURPOSE:To select desired switch elements by few input pins, by providing address decoders for selecting the desired switch elements in a switch matrix as shift registers. CONSTITUTION:In one side of an Si wafer, circuit blocks 11a-11N are formed. Each circuit block is constituted by one or more logic function elements. The input and output parts of the logic function element form the input and output parts of the circuit block. The output part is connected to signal output wirings 13. The input part is connected to signal input wirings 14, which are intersected with the wirings 13. Switch elements 12 are provided on the intersections. The element 12, where a row line 15 and a column line 16 are both activated, is selected, and an ON state is written. Registers 17 determine the states of the row lines and the column lines, and a shift register is constituted. The data lines for selecting the elements 12 are formed beforehand. The lines are sequentially shifted by a shift clock 19 and the signals are sent in. Thus the desired elements 12 are selected. |
