PURPOSE:To prevent the uncontrollable run of a shifting stand due to erroneous operation by providing a stopper driven by a solenoid, driving it through a delay circuit, and making to release the stopper at a fixed time after a main switch is made on. CONSTITUTION:Specified voltage is supplied to a solenoid 11 that drives the stopper lever 8 of an optical recording reproducing device from a power source circuit 23 through a delay circuit 25. When the solenoid 11 operates, the stopper lever 8 is pulled off from a friction material 12, and accordingly, a shifting stand 5 becomes possible to move in radial direction of a desk 1, and a specified action is made possible by a linear motor 7. Accordingly, even when the linear motor 7 made erroneous operation due to deviation of rising up of output caused by polarity of plus/minus power source when the power source is turned on, uncontrollable run of the shifting stand can be prevented as the shifting stand 5 is braked by the stopper lever 8.
