PURPOSE:To eliminate trouble of a caller for many times of call-back to a called party by registering automatically a message comprising a caller extension number and a call time to a multi-function telephone set if the called multi-function telephone set does not reply a call for a prescribed time. CONSTITUTION:When the called multi-function telephone set 103 does not reply a call, a central controller 109 decrements periodically a timer of a port memory 114 in a main storage device 110 corresponding to a caller side general extension subscriber 106 and when the timer is over, the controller 109 reads an allocated location of the telephone set 103 from the port memory 114, an extension number of a caller side general extension telephone set 106 from the master storage device 110, and a message registration time from a clock circuit 112 respectively, sets the result to a message registration memory 111 to the multi-function telephone set control circuit 102 so as to light a message lamp of the telephone set 103 and stop a call tone of the telephone set 103. |
