PURPOSE:To make a memory buffer processing efficient by making a reading information memory means from a file memory device into a flexible magnetic disk device. CONSTITUTION:By a large capacity flexible magnetic disk device (FD) 46 used by a file server 40, the memory contents of a heart disk device 45 of a terminal equipment are backed up. Thus, the number of back-up media is decreased. The file data from a heart disk device 15 stored beforehand to the disk device 45 are copied directly from the disk device 45 to an FD 46. Consequently, the data transfer is made highly speedy between the disk device 15 and communicating media (LAN) 1 and the file server 40, and the processing time is shortened. The memory back-up processing of an information processor is efficiently executed.
