PURPOSE:To stop the operation of a compressor in case a low temperature at an outdoor side and obtain a comfortable ventilation by the ventilating cooling by a method wherein the operation of a compressor is controlled by detecting the air temperature indoors or outdoors. CONSTITUTION:An ambient air temperature detector 14 provided on an air course between a duct connecting port 5 and the whole heat exchanger 2 closes a contact at a fixed temperature or above and the indoor side temperature detector 15 provided on the air course between the air connecting port 7 and the whole heat exchanger 2 closes a contact at the fixed temperature or above (cooling proper temperature in general). In case the cooling operation in the low temperature of the ambient air, when the SW1 16 is put ON, an exhaust fan 3 and an ambient fan 4 are operated to exhaust the indoor air and to induct the outdoor air. In other words, when the outdoor air temperature has become lower than the fixed temperature, the air temperature conditions of the indoor side heat exchanger and the operation of the compressor 9 is stopped before changing a liquid back operation. The function of the cooling (ambient cooling) may be effected enough due to the inducting to the room.
