PURPOSE:To enable changing of fuel injecting direction without decomposing a fuel injection valve by constructing a contact surface of the fuel injection valve and a cylinder cover and a connecting face with a fuel supply pipe with a global face whose center is the same point. CONSTITUTION:A contact surface 23 of the tip of a holder of a fuel injection valve 21 and a cylinder cover 3 is formed on a first global surface which makes a point A on a center axis of the fuel injection valve 21 a center. And a pipe side flange 25 is formed on the tip of a high pressure pipe 24, and a valve side flange 26 is formed on the holder 22 portion corresponding, and a connecting face of the flanges 25, 26 is also formed on a second global surface which makes the point A as a center. A fixing tool 33 of the fuel injection valve 21 is mounted to the cylinder cover 3 by a bolt 35. Thus, as the fuel injection valve 21 can freely be rotated with the point A as a center, fuel injecting direction can be changed desirably.
