PURPOSE:To prevent a bubble memory cassette from being collapsed by controlling a bubble memory controller in operating state and activating the bubble memory cassette when the said cassette is inserted in a bubble cassette housing part and the locking mechanism is locked. CONSTITUTION:To the locking mechanism 14a and 14b, a lock member 19 is attached to the tip of spindle 18 fitting to operation knobs 16a and 16b, and a coil spring 18a is wound spirally between the lock member 19 and the knobs 16a and 16b. As the knobs 16a and 16b are turned manually, the lock member 19 moves toward the direction of the arrow, and the pressing plate 20 of the lock member 19 presses switches 22a and 22b to close a contact. And, a plug 6a connected with the switches 22a and 22b is fit to a plug fitting part 7a. An 'L' signal is taken out to an eject terminal 17 through the plug fitting part 7a by which the bubble memory controller is made into operating state to drive the bubble cassette. And further, a glossa 21 is connected with an enclosure 1 so that the cassette becomes unable to be drawn out. In such way, the bubble memory is prevented from being collapsed.
