<p>PURPOSE:To correct the distortion of a transfer image through simple constitution by allowing a transfer material to enter the abutting part between a drum and a pressure transfer roller in a direction deviating from the perpendicular direction of the axis of rotation of the roller by an angle less than an angle thetaof intersection. CONSTITUTION:When the transfer material 100 is sent in a direction S1 deviating from a direction S0 perpendicular to the axis A-A of rotation of the drum 31 by an angle beta, an electromagnetic latent image is formed on the drum 31 by a scanning head part 33 in synchronization with the movement of the transfer material 100. This latent image is developed by a developing device into a toner image P. This toner image P is an image deviating from a line F parallel to the center axis A-A of rotation of the drum 31 by the skew angle beta. This toner image P is pressure-transferred to the transfer material 100 at the press- contacting part between the drum 11 and a pressure roller 12 and the transfer material 100 is carried out in a direction S2 almost at right angles to a press- contacting line C-C. The transferred image Q is an image having no distortion because the scanning head part deviates from the press-contacting line C-C by the skew angle beta.</p> |
