PURPOSE:To provide a room heating which does not occupy the living room space by sealing a heat accumulating material in the inside of walls, floors, pillars or on the ceiling or by installing a panel in which a heat accumulating material is sealed. CONSTITUTION:A heat accumulating material 3 that has the property to be supercooled is sealed in the inside of a building material or a panel. A plate 1 (a material of high heat conductivity such as a metal plate) that is not heat insulating is used as a material for at least the faces of the building material and panel that face the living room space. For the material to accumulate heat a material that has melting point over 50 deg.C in the process of temperature rise and has supercooling property with freezing point below the room temperature in the process of cooling by itself. After this heat accumulating material is heated over its melting point by an electric heater 4, using night electric power, it is left in molten state and left to cool to the room temperature. When room heating is required, the heat accumulating material in molten state is solidified by giving local shearing stresses. This heat accumulating material is preferably sodium acetate tri-hydrate dispersed in xanthen rubber. Discharge of latent heat is started by operating a trigger device 5. |
