PURPOSE:To improve reliability of starting in emergency by providing a spare lubricating pump which can be run by starting storage cell of a Diesel engine. CONSTITUTION:When starting signal of an emergency power source is generated in power failure or disaster, the signal is input to a control panel 5 and a spare lubricating pump 8 is run with a starting storage cell 7 as a power source. When power failure confirming time passes, power source of the spare lubricating pump 8 is cut and an engine cell motor is started and a Diesel engine 2 is started to generate power. Then, as the spare lubricating pump 8 is run immediately before starting of the Diesel engine 2, mechanical sliding parts such as bearings can be put in better lubricating condition and resistance in starting of the Diesel engine 2 becomes less and reliable starting can be made. |
