PURPOSE:To enable to perform the colored reverse treatment of a silver halide using a black and white developer having a good stability and a less tendency for affecting a change of a composition by treating the titled material with the black and white developer contg. a specific compd. CONSTITUTION:The titled material is treated with the black and white developer contg. the specific compd. shown by formula 1. The thioether compd. shown by formula 1 wherein R1 and R2 are each an alkyl group having -OH, -COOH or -NH2 substituent, is preferable to use. The representative compd. is for example, the compd. shown by formula 2. The compounding amount of said compd. is 0.01-100g, preferably, 0.05-50g per 1(l) developer. The treating temp. is preferable to be usually 18-60 deg.C. The treating time is 1-15min in the case of the black and white development. In the case of the color development, said time is 1-10min. |
