PURPOSE:To save energy in the preceding stage of ice manufacture by providing a divider enabling to divide water in a vertical direction in a vessel of an ice water tank and cooling the water surface by cool and reducing the quantity of water at the time of making ice. CONSTITUTION:The vessel 2 storing the water and the water in the vessel 2 are cooled and an intermediate division plate 4 formed of a flexible film is provided movably via winding shafts 7a and 7b by a wire 6 connected with the plate 4 in the ice water tank 1 having an ice manufacturing device making the ice and the water can be divided in the vertical direction. Then, the cool is acted on the water in the divided state in the vertical direction by extension of the intermediate division plate 4 from the water surface 3 to manufacture the ice. Further, at the time of a test to use an ice plate, the test is performed by winding and eliminating the intermediate division plate 4 and deepening the depth of the water. Consequently, the energy in the process of cooling the water in the preceding stage of manufacturing the ice is saved and its time can be shortened. |
