<p>The herbicidal action of 4-chloro-2-oxobenzothiazolin-3-ylacetic acid (benazolin) or a salt or ester thereof, is improved by the addition of one of: (i) 2-chloro-N-¢(4-methoxy-6-methyl-1,3,5-triazin-2-yl) aminocarbonyl!benzene sulphonamide (chlorsulfuron) (ii) 2-chloro-N-(pyrazol-l-ylmethyl)acet-2',6-xylidide (metazachlor) (iii) 2-¢4-(3-chloro-5-(trifluoromethyl)-2-pyridinyl)oxy) phenoxy!propionic acid (haloxyfop) or a salt or ester thereof (iv) 2-(3,5-dichlorophenyl)-2-(2,2,2-trichloroethyl)oxirane (tridiphane) and (v) (4-amino-3,5-dichloro-6-fluoro-2-pyridinyl) oxyacetic acid or a salt or ester thereof.</p> |
