PURPOSE:To stabilize selection and transmission of an information unit by stably holding a VBL couple on the stripe domain magnetic wall which is a miner loop, and by using the VBL couple which is made able to be selected and transmitted by a unit of one bit as the information unit. CONSTITUTION:On the surface of a stripe domain holding layer 1, parallel conductor patterns 5 and 5' and 6, 6' are alternatingly disposed perpendicularly to the longitudinal direction, and electric currents of the same absolute value are supplied so that they flow through the said patterns 5, 5' and 6, 6' in opposite direction to each other. However, the respective currents through the patterns 5, 5' and 6, 6' can be varied independently. In the mean time, conductor patterns 5, 6 and 5', 6' are made mutually intersect one time in the center of the width of the stripe domain, i.e. to the conductor patterns 5, 5' and 6, 6', respective A.C. currents of A.cosomegat and B.sinomegat are supplied and at the same time respective in-plane magnetic fields of ho.cosomegat and ho.sinomegat along the stripe domain magnetic walls are supplied, by which a progressive wave is generated in the in-plane field along the stripe domain magnetic walls. In result, a Bloch line couple can be stably transmitted along the stripe domain magnetic walls.
