PURPOSE:To improve the function and the operability by stopping a microprogram action when the request from the support processor is an action stopping request or when the comparator detects coincidence. CONSTITUTION:A support processor 20, when the action is desired to be stopped by the special address of the microprogram, supplies the request to a CPU control part 12 together with said address. A control part 12 sets the supplied address to an AM register 21 in accordance with the request. A setting address is supplied to one side input of a comparator 22, and to other side input, the address for a control memory 11 outputted from a microsequencer 19 is supplied. The comparator 22 compares both addresses, when coincidence is detected, informs a control part 12, the action of a clock generating device 17 is stopped, thereby the action of the microprogram is stopped. Thus, the microprogram debugging tool with a high function and a good operability can be realized.
