Improvements to cheese-making machines consists of (a) placing the motor unit of the machine and the feed pump for paste on a base which supports the machine assembly; (b) fitting the motor unit with a reducer which transmits its movement to a horizontal toothed wheel; siting another reducer near the main shaft of the machine, on the machine base; placing a whey-receiving tray on the sheet metal above the base; forming the tray with a vault which prevents over flow of liquids; and installing the main rotary table above the whey-receiving tray.
