The process comprises circulation of the fabric in the printing bath and removal for ascent without tension or friction, based on continuous pulses applied to portions of the fabric in the upwards direction. The fabric then descends under gravity to a station for liq. ink stream application on a slightly descending plane. The fabric feed rate virtually equals the liq. feed rate, the friction-free cycle being then repeated to complete the printing operation.
