<p>The device comprises a frame (5) and a slider (6) movable relative to the frame and adapted, in an operating position, to prevent the door (2) of the washing-machine (1) from opening. A sensor (13) for recording the water level in the washing chamber (3) is coupled to frame (5) and has a movable catch means (19).
