PURPOSE:To exceedingly easily treat the jammed paper sheet by partitioning a passage for the copying paper sheets into a paper feeding part, copying part, discharge part, etc. at each place where jam tends to be generated and displaying the region when jam is generated, in an image forming apparatus. CONSTITUTION:In an image formation apparatus for a copying machine, etc., a means for sending copying paper sheets 27-1 and 27-2 along a prescribed passage, and the paper feeding part sensors 36 and 37 for detecting the existence of the copying paper sheet at a prescribed position on the passage are provided. Further, in the image formation apparatus, a transcription part sensor 35 as the delayed-jam detecting means for detecting if a copying paper reaches a prescribed position or not, discharge part sensor 40 as the staying-jam detecting means for detecting if the copying paper is discharged from a prescribed position or not, trouble display device for the indication of the place where a trouble or jam is generated for the copying paper sheet, and a trouble place indicator are provided. The indication onto the indication means is made different according to the delayed jam or staying jam which is detected by the sensor. |
