The root-crop harvesting vehicle is partic. for potatoes, having digging, sifting and conveyor belts (2). The conveyor belt delivers the tubers onto a sloping discharge elevator, while a conveyor for manual sorting can be connected between the conveyor belt and the elevator. - The elevator (3) is extended, at the level of the last conveyor, by a horizontal section (8) forming part of it or by the conveyor for manual sorting. The length of which is sufficient to allow at least one sorter to work.
