PURPOSE:To exhibit shock absorbing function reliably by securing the fixing side of shock absorbing member at the frame side through a fixing board of reinforcing structure when fixing a bumper to the chassis frame through a shock absorbing member bucklable through impact. CONSTITUTION:In the bumpers 6 arranged in back/fro and to the right/left of vehicle and fixed to the chassis frame 9 through shock absorbers 1... composed of base body 2 of hollow polygonal pole having a row of many notches 3, the flange 4 provided on the top face of shock absorber 1 is tightened through a resilient member 7 to the bumper 6. While a fixing board 8 where the holding board 10 contacting against the underface of the chassis frame 9 is reinforced through plural reinforcing brackets 11 is tightened through bolts to the sideface of the chassis frame 9. Then a flange 5 provided on the bottom face of shock absorber 1 is tightened through bolts to said fixing board 8 thus to fix the shock absorber 1. |
