<p>An ultrasonic washing machine composed essentially of an air-bubble supply device and an ultrasonic generator. The ultrasonic generator is made to function with textile products such as fabrics, filaments, yarns, etc., placed in a water-filled tank. The air bubbles produced through the cavitation effect of the ultrasound impact on the surface of the textile products and help to remove stains, extraneous materials, etc., adhering to them. Some of the air supplied from the outside by the air- bubble supply device is dissolved constantly in the water, with the result that the air consumed by cavitation is replaced. The remaining air which has not been dissolved in the water gives the ultrasound a greater opportunity to give rise to diffused reflection in it when it ascends in the water as bubbles, which serves to greatly improve the washing effect.</p> |
