<p>The subject-matter of this invention is a device which is provided with a rotating unit for calibrating stone-material slabs of varying thickness. According to the invention, a vertical shaft drives a rotating unit which consists of at least two disc-shaped diamond grinding wheels, and in fact by means of bevel gear drives. The axes of the said diamond grinding wheels are inclined downwards so that, when the shaft rotates, the said axes describe a conical surface whose point is near the working surface. The diamond grinding wheels are provided with at least one conical bit, on the profile of which diamond tips are located, the outer margin of which belongs to a conical surface, the axis of which is the disc axis. The said conical surface is constantly arranged tangentially to the work surface. <IMAGE></p> |
