PURPOSE:To obtain a modified product having excellent surface characteristics without detriment to characteristics inherent to polyolefins, by treating the surface of a molding of a resin contg. an unsaturated copolymer composed of a 2-12C alpha-olefin and a specified 1,4-diene with an amino group-contg. compd. in treating said surface with ozone. CONSTITUTION:At least one member selected from among 2-12C alpha-olefins and at least one member selected from among 1,4-dienes of the formula (wherein R<1> is 8C or lower alkyl; R<2>, R<3> are each H, 8C or lower alkyl) are copolym erized to obtain an unsaturated copolymer. In treating the surface of a molding obtd. from a resin contg. said copolymer as an essential component with ozone, the surface of the molding is treated with at least one compd. selected from among org. compds. contg. at least one amino and/or imino group, ammonia and hydrazine before, during or after the treatment thereof with ozone. Ammo nia, hydrazine, methylamine, ethylamine and ethylenediamine are preferred as the amino group-contg. compd.
