<p>The process consists of (a) rubbing with a suitable abrasive applied to a grinder until the zone for repair is totally free from impurities, cleaning with solvent and heating for 10-15 minutes with heat without flame; (b) preparing a paste of a transparent epoxy resin and 50% white hardener, the resin having tensile strength of 140 kg/cu.cm and 450 kg/cu.cm. at a tensile adhesion force of 75 kg/cu.cm. and with no expansion or contraction up to 120 deg.C, applying this oVer the zone and leaving to cool, (C) rubbing down the surface of the patch is completely indistinguishable from the rest of the equipment; and (d) applying a mixt. of transparent epoxy resin with ceramic glaze and hardener, with 50% resin and hardener and double of glaze, with addn. of suitable colourant and allowing to dry for 8-10 hours.</p> |
