<p>Relief patterns are produced by (a) de-fibring at least one face of the fabric; (b) printing certain areas with the desired pattern using direct dyes, and the remaining areas with a mixt. of resins and dispersion dyes under high pressure to achieve high penetration and opening of the fabric fibres; (c) fixing the dyes by heat and pressure and washing out undeposited dye; (d) polymerising the resin to completely fix the impregnated fibres; and (e) raising the nap on the areas printed with direct dyes to provide the desired relief effect.</p> |
