摘要

Method comprises: (a) reacting formaldehyde with KCN in water at 0-5 deg.C to give cyanohydrin-formaldehyde (II), (b) reacting OH-CH2CN (II) with (III) at ambient temp. for 3 days, then adding thionyl chloride dropwise to give (IV), (c) reacting (IV) with sodium nitrite in acid medium with shaking and cooling in ice to give (V) and (d) reacting (V) with ethyl chloroformate at 3-5 deg.C for 2-3 hrs. to give (I).
