PURPOSE:To obtain a filter having high efficiency by providing extremely small pores wherein plural pores are communicated to a penetrating pore forming pores having many branches of extremely small pore size. CONSTITUTION:Main pores 11 penetrate a piece 1 of a ceramic filter. Further, pores 12 having extremely fine pores opening on the surface 3 of the piece as inlet(outlet) of the pore are communicated with the main pores 11 within the piece 1 forming branches of extremely small pore size. A the result, a filter having high efficiency is obtd.
