An agricultural machine has a main frame with an outrigger which is supported by a wheel at its outer end. The outrigger is attached to one main frame by a hinge bolt with its axis vertical and a safety load limiting bolt. - If the wheel supporting the outrigger strikes an obstacle which would impose an excessive load on the outrigger, the safety bolt breaks and allow the outrigger to swing about the hinge bolt in the horizontal plane. The safety bolt (43) is of relatively small dia. so that it will break at a pre-determined load. The bolt is supported in a rigid bush (37) which is attached by locknuts (42) to the main frame (35). The bolt head (44) fits in a slot (54) in a block (51) attached to the outrigger.
