<p>Compounds of the formula (I> <IMAGE> wherein m is from 2 to 8 and n is from 1 to 7, the total or m+n being 4 to 12; Ar represents an optionally substituted phenyl group R<1> and R<2> each represents a hydrogen atom or a C1-3 alkyl group the sum total of carbon atoms in R<1> and R<2> being not more than 4; Q represents a group R<3>CO-, R<3>NHCO-, R<3>R<4>NSO2- or R<5>SO2-, where R<3> and R<4> each represents a hydrogen atom or a C1-3 alkyl group and R<5> represents a C1-4 alkyl group; and physiologically acceptable salts and solvates thereof, have a selective stimulant action at B2- adrenoreceptors and are useful, in particular, in the treatment of diseases associated with reversible airways obstruction such as asthma and chronic bronchitis.</p> |
