<p>A motion adaptive selection circuit is operable by way of a decision circuit. The decision circuit has three inputs coupled to a video signal source of applying signals corresponding to three position-sequential lines of two fields. The decision circuit (29) has three inputs (51,53,57) each coupled to an input (3,9,11) of the selection circuit (5). It determines at any moment at which input of the selection circuit the amplitude of the video signal is closest to the mean value of the amplitudes at the three inputs. The selection circuit includes a circuit (15,17,19) coupling the input to its output (21) under the influence of the decision circuit.</p> |
