Osmotic device for delivery of a drug (I) comprises: (1) a wall consisting of a first semi-permeable layer and a second layer consisting of a polymer, which is permeable to fluid passage, and a fatty acid salt or surfactant; (2) a compartment, defined by the wall, contg. a specified amt. of (I)-contg. formulation, and (3) an arrangement in the wall connecting the compartment with the outside to release the formulation. The wall may include a third, euteric layer.
