PURPOSE:To enable vertical transport by providing two endless conveyer belts, the upper end portions of which are supported on a fixed upper base, the lower end portions thereof being supported on a lower base capable of freely elevating, and running the belts in contact with each other along the vertical direction. CONSTITUTION:There are provided two endless conveyer belts 8, 9, the upper end portions of which are supported on a fixed upper base 3, the lower end portions being supported by a lower base 4 capable of freely elevating. The belts are capable of running at uniform speed in contact with each other in the vertical direction or oblique direction. Reel-in portions are formed at suitable places in the middle of the belts 8, 9. Tension pulleys 36 for supporting the reel-in portions are provided in such a manner as to freely change its support position. Further, there is provided an elevating device 5 for elevating the lower base 4 within the support position changeable range of the pulley 36. This arrangement enables vertical transport or steep angle transport, employing a characteristic of a belt conveyer.
