PURPOSE:To prevent deterioration of an image quality due to a dispersion of deflection value under a simple and low-cost configuration by providing varied shapes of deflecting electrode to plural nozzle repectively. CONSTITUTION:A nozzle at the end of a multi-nozzle ink jet shows a dispersion of deflection value caused by a minimization of ink droplets influenced by an air flow as compared to the other nozzles. This results in the deterioration of an image quality. To eliminate this phenomenon, a gap between deflecting electrodes 301 and 302 is assumed as d1 at its edge and d2 at its other parts, and d1>d2 is set. Thus a dispersion of deflection value due to Vj can be corrected by making d1 and d2 correspond to the depth of the gap. |
