PURPOSE:To obtain the printing of high picture quality with inconspicuous boundary, by tilting only a thermal head resistance heating element in contact with a block boundary in the printing direction. CONSTITUTION:The construction of the resistance heating elements R1n and R21 given to the boundary of split is tilted against the printing direction, and other resistance heating elements are made parallel. By performing it in such a way, The dots by the resistance heating elements R1n and R21 in the boundary are tilted, and as a clearance (g) conventionally produced gets tilted, the white lines of the printing picture become the pictures that the small clearances are scattered, and the printing of higher picture quality than the conventional one s obtained. The relation between the heating elements R1n and R21 in the boundary is rquired so that the per-pendicular from the left upper corner of the R21 matches with the right lower corner or is piled up more than it, and in case it is smaller than it the small stripes remain left.
