PURPOSE:To position exactly and easily a die opening and closing unit, and to float it up from a fixed plate by forming plural recessed holes which are opened in the lower part of the die opening and closing unit, in a tapered shape, and providing a ram which is engaged so as to be freely attachable and detachable to and from this recessed hole. CONSTITUTION:A die opening and closing unit 29 being in a die-matched state is advanced, and inserted between a pair of arms 66. When a ram 67b is raised by leading a pressure oil into a port 67a of a push-up cylinder 67, a tapered head part of a ram 67f is engaged to a tapered ram hole 81 of a liner 79 provided on the opening and closing unit 29, and positioned exactly by a tapering action. When said ram is further raised, the liner 79 contacts by pressure to a horizontal member 66a of the arm 66 and stops. As a result, a lower end fitting base 71 of the die opening and closing unit 29 is separated from the abutting surface of a base platen 5 and floats up. In this regard, when a piston rod 83 of a die opening and closing cylinder 82 is raised, a top frame 76 ascends, and metallic molds 33, 34 become a die-open state.
