PURPOSE:To record forcibly photographic data on a film at a lateral or longitudinal position even when a photograph is taken with a camera lens set downward by arranging a mercury switch so that its tip part slants bakward by a specific angle to a plane perpendicular to an optical axis. CONSTITUTION:The mercury switch 12 is arranged in the space part 16 at the rear cover 14 for a camera body 10 (between a film pressure plate and the rear cover) and in a plane parallel to a film while slanting by a specific angle, e.g. 45 deg. to the bottom surface 18 of the camera body 10. Further, the mercury switch 12 is set so that its upper end slants back by a specific angle theta(5-6 deg.) to the plane perpendicular to the optical axis 30 of a photographic lens system 20 in the space 16 of the camera body 10. Consequently, photographic data is recorded properly on the film at the specific longitudinal or lateral position even when a photograph is taken with the camera l ens set nearly downward.
