PURPOSE:To enable to obtain a plastic case like an attache case easily, by making use of a split mold consisting of two half molds, a male mold and a female mold to form cavities. CONSTITUTION:Mating surface members 5, 6 are fixed temporarily to temporary fixing parts 18, 19 so as to surround a base ends of cavity portions 15a, 16a of the male mold by separating half molds 11, 12 of the split mold and cylindrical parison 13 made of thermoplastics is arranged between the half molds 11, 12 by extruding the same. Then the lower end of the parison 13 is closed, the parison 13 is made to enter up to the vicinity of surface members 5, 6 by pre- expanding the same and then the half molds 11, 12 are closed. Then the parison 13 is made to expand by blowing a pressurized fluid into the same, a main body 2 and lid body 3 which are in hollow and double-walled structure are molded respectively in a space surrounded by cavity portions 15a, 15b of the male and female and in a space surrounded by cavity portions 16a, 16b, of the male and female molds, and mating surface members 5, 6 are unitarily welded with the expanded parison 13 to form a case. |
