PURPOSE:To prevent a track during a transportation from slipping by mounting a transporting disk during a transportation of an FDD and locking a movement of a carriage. CONSTITUTION:A transporting disk 24 is mounted on a hub receiver 9 through a hub mounting section 26, and then a protruding section 30a formed in a carriage pressing section 31 engages with a groove 32 formed between a steel belt attaching section 31 and a protrusion 14a of a carriage 14. The carriage 14 only permits to move in a clearance section between the protruding section 30a and the groove 32. Thereby, defects are eliminated, which is deformation of a lower gimbal 19 and an upper gimbal 20 according to a dropping impact or a vibration during a transportation of the FDD, and slipping from the specified position of a lower portion magnetic head 15 or an upper portion magnetic head 16.
