PURPOSE:To attain an increase in capacity by use of a cassette driving device put on the market by inserting one of plural cassettes into the driving device by a single operating member and putting a cassette which is ejected from the driving device after reading or writing operation at its original position. CONSTITUTION:Plural cassettes 2 are stored in a cassette holder 1, which is fitted to a support member 3 detachably and fixed at a specific position of the support member 3 in a fitted state. Then a plane running in the thickness center of each stored cassette run in the core center of a shaft 4 as the center of rotation of the support member, namely, a line of intersection of those planes coincides with the core center of the shaft 4. An operating member 7 consists of an operation member 9 which is movable to the right and left of a machine frame 8 and a hand part 10 so that a cassette positioned by a positioning member 5 is inserted into an FDD 6 and a cassette ejected from the FDD 6 after reading or writing operation is returned to the original position of the cassette holder 1.
