PURPOSE:To enable joining minimizing an error by adjusting relative position of joining of two core base metals to bring the sum of difference between required track width and each track joining width close to zero. CONSTITUTION:The second core material 15 is fixed to a slide table 23 and the first core material 14 is butted. When light is irradiated to inner edge part from light emission elements 25a, 26a of light sensors 25, 26, reflected light becomes pulselike as reflection factor is different in glass part packed in track grooves 20a, 20b and core part such as ferrite etc. This is received by photo-electric elements 25b, 26b, and pulse waveforms P1, P2 converted to electric signals are added by an arithmetic unit 28. Then, a pulse waveform P3 having pulse width corresponding to the difference between apparent track width l and width of deviation l0, that is, track joining width Tw is obtained. Thus, joining that minimize the error of track joining width Tw to required track width Two becomes possible. |
