METHOD AND DEVICE FOR CHARGING RAW MATERIAL DL TYPE SINTERING MACHINE

PURPOSE:To obtain an optimum segregated charging state of raw material by disposing a roller shute having slits so as to incline between a roll feeder in the lower part of an ore feed hopper and pallet and rotating a roller group. CONSTITUTION:The roller chute 3 having slits of <=15mm opening interval is installed so as to incline at 45 deg. with the horizontal plane between the roll feeder 2 in the lower part of the ore feed hopper 1 and the pallet 4 of a sintering machine. The coarse grains sized >=15mm roll down to the bottom end (a) of the chute and form a piling slope (b) on the lower layer of the pallet 4 when the raw material falls onto the roller chute 3. The raw material is classified in the stage of rolling on the slope (b) and is charged successively into the pallet from the particles having the grain sizes of descending order from above to below. The fine trains sized <=15mm pass through the slits and are charged onto the piled coarse grain layers. The particles having the smallest grain sizes are charged to the uppermost layer. The surface is then leveled off by a leveling means 5 and the pallet is transferred into an ignition furnace.
