<p>PURPOSE:To deposit easily reduced silver on a substrate in a high yield by reacting silver carbonate with an aqueous soln. of hydrogen peroxide. CONSTITUTION:Silver carbonate obtd. by reacting calcium carbonate with silver nitrate is used as a starting material. An aqueous soln. of hydrogen peroxide having about 10% concn. is gradually added to the silver carbonate and reacted. At this time, the reaction is carried out on a substrate coated with silver carbonate particles so that silver can be easily deposited on the substrate. By this method, reduced silver can be safely recovered in a high yield without producing reaction residue.</p> |
