摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To attain thickness reduction and high-density recording at the same time by holding the 1st and the 2nd entry-side tape guide bodies at the shortest distance in a period where the 2nd entry-side tape guide body exits from the opening part of a tape cassette and reaches a specific loading end position. CONSTITUTION:The distance l between the 1st and the 2nd entry-side tape guide bodies 9 and 11 is equal to l2 during loading when omega=0-omega1. This means that the loading operation is performed while the distance between the 1st and the 2nd entry-side tape guide bodies 9 and 11 is sufficiently short, and a magnetic tape 4 is drawn out smoothly without contacting the tape cassette 3 nor the top end surface of a payoff reel 5. Consequently, the interval between the two tape guide bodies which are arranged at the same side of a cylinder is easily set to an optional proper value between a loading completion state and an unloading completion state.</p>
