PURPOSE:To add functions for reproducing and monitoring a sound-recorded signal instantaneously, dubbing operation, etc., only by providing one playback amplifier by operating the 1st changeover switch associatively when the 2nd changeover switch is operated selectively. CONSTITUTION:The 1st changeover switch 6 is operated associatively with the switching operation of the 2nd changeover switch 12. A source signal inputted to an input terminal 10 is adjusted by an input level adjusting means 11 to a level suitable to sound recording and then inputted to a sound recording amplifier 13 from a terminal 12a of the 2nd changeover switch 12 through a common terminal 12c and the amplified output signal is superposed upon the bias current from a bias oscillator 14, applied to a sound recording head 5, and recorded. The sound-recorded signal is reproduced instantaneously by the 2nd playback head 4 and inputted to a playback signal to the playback amplifier 7 from a terminal 6a of the 1st changeover switch 6 through a common terminal 6c. The signal is amplified and then voltage-amplified by a voltage amplifier 8 and supplied to an output terminal 9, so the signal is reproduced and monitored instantaneously.
