The invention relates to a phase-variation device structure for internal combustion engines, comprising a hollow tubular element 3 having a threaded end 3a engaging coaxially with a camshaft 2 and rotationally supporting an annular projection 5 which supports a sleeve tube 8 provided with internal toothing 9 and external toothing 21 interacting with a chain. The relative rotations between the sleeve tube 8 and the tubular element 3 are controlled by an actuating piston 10 provided with external toothing 11 with straight-cut teeth engaged with the internal toothing 9 of the sleeve tube 8, as well as helical internal toothing 12 engaged with a toothing 6 of conjugate shape obtained on the hollow tubular element 3. The structure in question provides an end-fitting 26 engaged on the threaded end 3a and coming into abutment against the corresponding end of the camshaft 2. <IMAGE>
