PURPOSE:To facilitate extension of a front side system by maintaining a communication line between the front computer on which transmission is requested and host computer. CONSTITUTION:A host side transmitting and receiving circuit 11 is provided for the host side interface 5 and a front side receiving circuits 12A-12C are provided for the front side interfaces 6A-6C. The front side receiving circuits 12A-12C has transmission circuits 18A-18C, receiving circuits 19A-19C and receiving control circuits 20A-20C. The receiving control circuits 20A-20C receive transmission request signals from the front side interfaces 6A-6C, enabling reception of signals sent by the receiving circuits 19A-19C, and receive signals from other front side in interfaces 6A-6C, prohibiting reception of signals from the receiving circuits 19A-19C. |
