This device comprises a number of individual circuits, each corresponding to an ion exchanger cartridge (26, 27, 28 or 29). Each individual circuit has a flow control valve (31), a flowmeter (32) and a circuit shut-off valve (33). These circuits are connected in parallel between, on the one hand, the outlet of a pump (21) and, on the other hand, a return conduit (25). Two groups of controlled valves (14, 15, 16 and 22, 23, 24) are connected to the outlet and the inlet respectively of a storage vessel containing either a rinsing liquid or a reactant for regenerating the ion exchanger cartridges.
