PURPOSE:To prevent a clogging in an air heater caused by acid ammonium sulfate and inhibit a frequent stop in operation of the pump by a method wherein wire brushes contacting to a part near the divided portions of the thermal conductive elements of which wire ends are divided are attached to a rotary housing. CONSTITUTION:When it is desired to determine the height of the thermal conductive elements, acid ammonium sulfate adhering temperature area is made between a medium temperature thermal conductive element 2 and a low temperature thermal conductive element 1 and the acid ammonium sulfate is selectively adhered to the end part of each of the thermal conductive elements and the amount of adhesion of the acid ammonium sulfate adhered to the part other than the end part of the thermal conductive element is reduced. Then, this selective adhered acid ammonium sulfate is concentrically removed with the wire brush 6 so as to prevent a clogging in the air preheater unit. Further, A seal plate 9 is fixed at a clearance between the thermal conductive element and the rotary housing 10 so as to cause the gas to pass through the thermal conductive element and to improve an efficiency of thermal conduction. |
