PURPOSE:To heat up the inside of a gas generating device for a short time to the temp. at which fuel oil is vaporized and gasified by burning raw fuel oil completely in such a manner that raw burning flame is exhausted toward the gas generating device from exhaust flame hole installed at the tip end of a burning cylinder. CONSTITUTION:After a exhaust flame hole 12 is opened at the start time of burning, fuel oil is burnt in the inside of a vaporizing chamber 4 of a gas generating device 1 and then the generated raw burning flame flows into a gas chamber 7 of a burning cylinder 5 from a tip end of the gas generating device 1 and exhausted from a exhaust flame hole 12 and the above-mentioned condition is continued. At this time, fuel oil is burnt completely with no generation of raw burning flame gas, etc. because the exhaust flame hole 12 is opened at the tip end of the burning cylinder 5 and the gas generating device is heated strongly at both inside and outside thereof by burning flame flowing in the gas generating device 1 and raw burning flame exhausted from the exhaust flame hole 12 respectively. As a result, the inside of the gas generating device 1 is heated up to the temp. at which fuel oil is vaporized and gasified and also temp. of burning cylinder 5 is increased.
